Everything kind of changed.

The colours I am surrounding myself with are much happier

and brighter now.

 

 

I have this deep need to have lots of colour around me.

Nothing feels the same anymore.

 

 

My life has been on hold for 5 years.

Where I was just floating, not being here nor there.

Where my entire life was not happening.

 

 

Circumstances were just so difficult.

And just remained treading water in the same spot.

Just surviving.

 

 

Maybe that is why I want to surround myself with flowers and happy

colours.

 

It is time for me to continue living.

Doing the things I love.

Growing away from where I was stuck.

 

Thank you to all the dear people who stayed near me

and cared for me.

 

It means more than any words can ever express.

Summer Smiles in Flowers

My love for paper and paints has been mixing with yarns.

 

 

I find myself stacking yarn made goodies, and instantly my

mind starts ticking how to use them, and what to use them

with.

 

 

I can't seem to just let yarn be yarn.

 

My mind seems to be a strange place where all of it just

mixes and starts blending into something else.

 



 

This new love of mine, this yarn, has been such a joy.

I just love all the colours and all the wonderful

textures. I am still so new at crocheting, and learning

as I go along. But I just love it.

 

This is a summer illustration I made.

I had been painting some stalks and lettered some words

when I happened to have some unfinished grannysquares

on the table.

 

I just love the promise of Summer.

 

I am hoping everything will come together finally for us

in this new land that is now our home.

Butterflies Welcome

 

 

 

The season of sunshine is coming!
Bright light and happy colours are on the way!

 

 

Even the paint tin on the table has been all bright and happy.

 

 

I have had Spring on my mind for a bit.

But what with all the snow that just keeps on coming

I just had to take some action and make myself some

flowers instead.

 

 

Nothing like having some happy flowers around all year.

 

 

Winter can definitely stop now.

 

I am so ready for the real thing!

Colour colour everywhere!

 

I like picking the brightest happy colours when the weather outside

is white and chilly. It is almost like having a bit of Summer during the

colder months on the inside.

 

 

Winter is such a great season for sewing, knitting and crocheting.

All snug as a bug. Candles and big cups of hot drinks to keep you

company.

 

 

 

Maybe I am just easily pleased.

 

Bright happy colours just brighten up the day.

And making lovely soft items with the colourful yarns makes for happiness.

 

 

I personally can't imagine living in a place where there are no Seasons.

Where there is no need to make scarfs and warm yarny things.

 

 

I just love the colours of happiness.

The poppy brightness of pinks and greens and purples

and yellows and blues and and and.....

 

I guess I just love colour!
