Achoo

I finally opened the first Christmas Goodness package I received a while ago,
sent to me by lovely Jackie. Ooo so much happiness and colour!
I wasn't going to open it until Christmas Day, but she made me do it :)
I feel so spoiled, and it was such a joy to unwrap, all very beautifully
put together. I just love all of it!  Thank you so much, Jackie!

. . . . . . .

And yesterday a wee surprise package arrived from Juliane-

The most magical little Magic Box!
My children can not get enough of it, and are so intrigued.
Especially my little ones can pull the button over and over and over.

Thank you so much Juliane!

. . . . . . .

I have been in such a pitiful state lately, no sleep, horrid head cold
and going through boxes of tissues like there is no tomorrow.
But how can I possibly be miserable with mail such as this.

Oh!

Oh! Oh! Oh!
I received my first Christmas Swap Package from Jackie!
And my oh my, the wrapping is something else. Beautiful!
Jackie kindly emailed me and told me I was allowed to open
the package, but I can't get myself to open anything yet,
until I have put up my tree and decorated the house.

So I will be staring at this a little while longer, and most
likely develop a serious twitch.

I am putting together all Swap Packages this week, and
quite a few more packages and snail mails to friends
and family. It is going to be busy.

I hope every one is enjoying the impending arrival of Christmas!
((thank you so much Jackie!))

Wrap Pack and Bundle

I have been developing a twitch in my eye, honestly. Have been
jumping up and down, type of thing, to show you the hand made items
for the Christmas swaps I made, but nope *slaps hand* I am not allowed
to post about any of that. *sighs* Would just spoil it for the recipients.

But this morning I was folding and wrapping up bundles of fabrics
for the Christmas Goodness Packages. And since I am not quite  'normal' of course,
I have to add frillies and bits to make it a 'Smiling Bundle'.

All I now have to do is shop around in Toulouse, and get
chocolates and such to add to the packages, and I am ready to go.

Ha! At least I was able to post one photo!
*runs away quickly*

Happy October!
Not long now, Christmas is just around the corner.
I don't know about you, but I do get the tingles and such. I don't think I
have ever truly grown up.
And now is the perfect time to start preparing and creating gifts!

I would love to trade some Christmas Goodness Packages!
In the package will be
. Delicious chocolate/sweets
. A heartfelt hand made item
.  Selection of fabric bits
. An unexpected surprise
. A Christmas Card
-

If you would like to trade a Christmas Goodness Package with me,
please leave me a comment and let me know the things you favour, such
as colours and other important info I need to know.

All packages will be mailed in the 3rd week of November,
and upon receipt you are not allowed to peek until Christmas morning!
{ promise }

I will only be able to take on a handful of trades, and will pick randomly from
the list of people who have been so kind to leave me a comment.

Let the fun begin!

Tea For Two Picnic Set

I received a surprise box full of goodness the other day, and I must admit I was totally astonished by what I found wrapped. My friend Ann has done it again, sitting there with my mouth open, and not able to believe what she has sent me.

She created  a Tea for Two set using some of my cotton tapes, and wanted to show me her creations. After I picked myself off the floor, I sat and ooh-ed and aah-ed. Such beautiful and clever creations. Her sewing skills faultless ( I am so envious!)

The Picnic bag in blue has a wonderful Martha Steward lunch cube, and there is a great bottle tote to put  ice tea in. A little table cloth and delicious short bread biscuits all the way from Hawaii.

Thank you so much Ann! I feel so spoiled, and am left speechless again.

Kindness

I was so pleased receiving such a lovely package in the mail today, filled with kindness, from a wonderful lady who had purchased a selection of my cotton tapes at my Etsy Shop.

Her name is Ann, and she wanted to show me how she had been using some of the cotton tapes. In the package I found three beautifully made Coffee Break Kits, filled with delicious coffee and tea (and sugar and coffee mate and straws for stirring!) Each having a wee pocket on the inside.

I feel utterly spoiled, and simply adore to find such joys in my mail box!

Thank you so much, Ann!
