My friend Earl and I

Eighty is a LOT of squares to cut out.
But I was prepared!
I boiled the kettle, made some earl grey, and switched my brain to zero.
{ no it wasn't painful, comes quite naturally :}
Even started a bit of sewing.
Good ol' Earl Grey is nice company.

  11. Ooh yes, like jademondin said, I hope you invested in a rotary cutter and cutting mat like I told you to! I use mine for everything - not just patchwork projects - you get such accuracy and lovely straight lines like you just can't get with scissors (or I can't anyway!). I use the old blades for cutting paper and card.
