Ooh yes, like jademondin said, I hope you invested in a rotary cutter and cutting mat like I told you to! I use mine for everything - not just patchwork projects - you get such accuracy and lovely straight lines like you just can't get with scissors (or I can't anyway!). I use the old blades for cutting paper and card.
