Vive la différence

In between doing lots of painting -there I go again- I put a frame together, and painted that too! [ blame the hands, the brain has nothing to do with it ]
I had no print/picture that would fit it's large size, so I painted something myself. Which seems to be such a running theme in our home lately. The celebration/acceptance of being yourself. And if you happen to be different, it is nothing to be ashamed of, it should be celebrated *nods*

I can't say I am done. The bed room is next, then the hallway and landing.
And truth is that I am not quite done with the living room yet. Or the kitchen.

But I 'need' to do some work on paper, and will be adding lots of new cotton tapes to my shop in a week or so. I am not too happy about my shop being closed, but it is the only way to get my to-do-list to shrink.

In the mean time, if you get a chance, go and do something different, be different somehow. It is a great feeling to to break out of routines.

  1. It truly is. I am still struggling to find my way back after the spring break and the camp. But I feel good. Beside this I am eating 5 days raw food in a row. Want to have a cleanse.

Got your lovely mail yesterday. And indeed. It made me smile. You are such a lovely friend!

  4. Love your little picture (do you think you'll be turning this into one of your postcards?).

I received your great postcard yesterday - what a lovely picture. I was so inspired that I went and ordered myself some from Moo. I'm not the greatest photographer in the world, but I give it a go - fingers crossed the photos I've picked out, make decent postcards. They'll be good for my Postcrossing adventures if nothing else. Shall I send you one when I get them?

Hope all is well with you.

  8. the theme of the week in this household too. It's scary to think that my little girl is growing up, the peer pressure, the acceptance of who she is. She really smart though, but still it makes me nervous thinking the "what if's ". I'm glad I got my tape right before you break:)
