Deep Breath In....

... and out again.

Ooo I have been struggling. Not quite being able to get through
the day without a serious anxiety attack here and there.

Many upside down things the matter in my little world
and I suppose the vast amounts of coffee I was consuming
was not helping ( if not actually causing  the panic)

So a call to more of a calm

... nice cup of tea, thanks very much.

The caffeine shakes will be gone soon enough, and I might
be able to get back to my semi - normal self.

Good thing I have some coffee - hopjes to help me out.

Cheers!

  3. Oh, I am sorry to hear this, Anna. Hope everything will be fine soon. I love coffee the most of all but recently it makes me nervous & shaky... so I switched to decaf. We are lucky to have a quality decaf here, you can not tell a difference.
Hope things will go better for you soon.

  4. Oh yes, I am the same. The coffee is making me so anxious, and I don't think it ever did that before (unless I was in denial)... I will see if I can go decaf, I do love my coffee... ((thank you for your comment!))

  5. I would go for tee!
(not black tee though... maybe green tee or white tee... or just camomille...)
    And cupcakes!

(Although those Hopjes sure look yummy!)
    :o)

    ((HUGS!!))

  8. This is mainly the reason why I do not drink coffee. Take a stropwaffel with your tea, it will certainly help :) Hugs!

  9. I know what you mean, I can only drink about 3 proper coffees a day without giving me horrible effects. I now buy decaff as I like the taste but don't want that horrible feeling that too much caffiene gives me.

  12. Thank you thank you thank you so very, very much for your muchly beloved snailmail Anna dear. It made me wish I could pop over and keep you company.

Anxiety + caffeine = bad idea. Switch to decaf for the time being (when my anxieties are up in turmoil I switch to decaf, or sometimes I make a blend of decaf and regular...). Try to relax, take an early morning sunbath, smash some old cups and saucers (if anyone asks just say you're making mosaic), breathe from your belly, stretchercize (do-it-yourself Tai Chi), find your happy place, listen to uplifting music, rest, sleep.

I'm writing a long letter to you, hopefully that might cheer you up somewhat. You're in my thoughts.

    Love,
    Trin XXX

  15. Oooo coffee does things to me too! I get high and then happy and if I am out shopping, I just treat myself to this and that. After about an hour or so I get so very hungry and indulge! I hope you are feeling much better and do go for decaff if you have cravings for coffee.

  16. Oh my ... I don't drink coffee anymore, it gives me the jitters !
I even have an Emma Bridgewater mug that says so :D

But I love to drink some decaf, sometimes ... (with vanilla syrup & soy milk ... Yum !)

Tea is my best friend !
