Speechless

Words are funny old things. I seem to have lost the power of speech for a while. Which is ironic since the chatter never seems to stop inside my head. But not to worry, where I am lacking in making any vocal noise my children definitely do not have this problem.
I tend to fiddle and doodle words instead. It is less noisy, you see. But not as much as I like. It saddens me that I have lost the ability to draw because of my shaking and trembling hands. Several doctors pronounced me healthy despite debilitating symptoms. It has left me speechless.

  1. Ai, dat klinkt niet fijn - en al helemaal niet als je kunstenaar bent.
    Beterschap!!

  2. I shake too, and can not do anymore of my Saturday Sketches now for a while, it seems. I am still searching for answers to this debilitating fatigue...and the breathing... Anna, I think of you. If you ever want, I will let you know what I discover, so maybe it could help... Take care. I am sorry... Kath

  3. Thank heaven for noisy kids right?:) What about Lyme Anna...could it be that? So very hard to diagnose Lyme but so many things are attributed to it.

    Your doodled words are beautiful!

  4. I am sorry to hear that your hands are still shaking and you have no more answers that before.
Isn't it sad when our hands give out. Things we used to do are now unthinkable chores.
I do less and less work because of my hands and fatigue. I can understand your speechless.

  5. Oh Anna! It's so sad when we can not do what we love. I think of you always too. I really hope they can figure out what is happening and administer a magic cure. I want nothing more than for you to draw again. Big Hugs from across the world. Laurraine

  8. I'm with Dolores on this.

Please do check for Lyme. And don't take no for an answer. It is very hard to detect - sometimes cannot be detected at all. Antibiotics, heaps of it, over a prolonged period of time, are the only answer.
