A Summer's Day

1 square, 2 square, 3 square..... cup of tea, 4 square...... and so on
stitch them all together
... one row after the other
having lost count on this Summer's day
...whilst Oliver hides in the herb garden
looking for the shade

  1. ooooo, so excited to see your newest creation of beauty!! love those fabrics Anna!! and Oliver? he reminds me of a cat we had years ago...his name was Pumpkin, he was such a great cat, loved him so. Can't wait to see this all done!! you are such an inspiration!!

  2. Pretty fabrics and equally pretty pusscat! I've got the top of a quilt made for a friend's daughter. Just need to get around to finishing it.........

  4. Hi Anna,

Lovely to see your work process.
This summer over here in Yorkshire has been brill too!

  5. These fabrics are so sweet. My daughter's bridal shower was in this theme of vintage style with this! Your quilt is looking fabulous! What an amazingly cute photo of your cat. You managed to capture that real, personal look a loved pet has...

  6. Oh, lovely fabric. Can't wait to see the finished project.

    Lovely photo of Oliver.

  7. It is wonderful to read your words - and they sound like you're feeling a bit more yourself. Your patchwork is lovely - I wish I could hang out my fabric in the sun but as it's Ireland and raining mostly so that is impossible. I found your tapes on 'pinterest' the other day, I 'pinned' them - it made me smile. Have a lovely inspired August.

  8. Wow Anna, they look wonderful & happy :) I was just sewing your tapes on :) I do hope your enjoying that patchwork project, I cant wait to see the end result!!! Smiles Kristy

  9. Oh, so lovely! I love the colors on the fabric! Thank you for showing us your ongoing project, I like so much to see it! And I like your photos a lot!

  10. Can't wait to see the final result of this work in progress. And what an adorable kitty!
