think think think

Time for a re-think, a re-shuffle and putting plans in order. I have been so very busy with my shop, that everything else in my big-book-of-things-to-do has been gathering dust for over a year and a half. It wasn't until recently that I realized I have not even had a break during this time, working even through weekends.
But there are other things I want to do, have been planning to do for ages. Argh.
Not that I have been procrastinating. I have simply been overwhelmed.
So I have partly emptied out my shop, a smaller selection of tapes will be available for now, and I shan't be able to take on any custom made orders of any kind until I have my head sorted. [ It is only a small place, so it won't take long :]

Lots of new things coming soon...

  1. Good idea. You don't want to burn yourself out and stop enjoying yourself. I know what you mean though. I find that I work later and longer than if I were working for somebody else - I am the slave driving boss I would have hated.

Just by the by, loving the inky silhouette pic of your family on the right but who is that woman masquerading as the matriarch? It can't be you, she's wearing a skirt.

  2. wise decision, my friend. You need to take care of yourself & make things for yourself only. Everyone will understand, and if they don't, it will the just the same ! LOL

  7. Definitely take some time to smell the roses, as well as the time to sort your priorities. Life marches along at a relentless rate, and before you know it your children are grown and you're wondering what happened. There speaks the voice of experience! Kim :)
