English Cups of Tea

I have this thing with english cups of tea. Mmmm earl grey.
Had to make an illustration to put on a cotton tape to use for one of my sewing projects.
Thought it would be a nice idea to add it to the shop, too.

In the mean time, I can be found behind the stack of fabrics and the sewing machine.

*joy*

  2. Right where you should be, Anna ; )~~love the teacups! I'm coming very soon for an order of tapes to use for my little cafe au lait bowl quilt. Did you see the squares on flickr? Now......which lovely tapes should I use? And then I will find myself behind my machine as well ; )~~

Why don't you make also a cotton tape with other styles of cup of tea?

  4. oh, I just love this, Anna! I figured I'd be a happy coffee drinker for the rest of my life, then poof! not allowed to anymore, so...I have been making decaffeinated herbal teas and iced teas...and I am enjoying this. Instead of big coffee mugs, I must be open and welcome pretty teacups into my life. I think it suits me!♥

  7. Beatiful tape! I recently purchased some Yorkshire Gold tea - thought I'd give it a try. Turns out it was my (English) mother-in-law's favorite. Fortunately I bought two boxes so she could take one home - I got big points on that one!

  8. I just opened the tapes that I ordered from you and they are super fabulous... they will be given as part of a gift to the Mum of my Japanese daughter-in-law. She is a dream at sewing and will love them.

  14. Oooh, lovely. Those fabrics really are very English, I must say. They remind me of walking through Hyde Park in London on a mild Spring day (probably looking forward to a hot cup of tea when I arrived at my destination!). x
