To shop or not

Mmm fabric

I have not ever been very good at shopping. I think I am missing that button somewhere. I don't do the -going-into-one-shop-after-the-other to bump into something I will convince myself I totally need/always wanted. I am a rubbish 'woman' and fail the feminine task of browsing about and shop-till-I-drop.  Instead I window shop, and talk myself out of purchasing [ & park myself on a terrace with a coffee & watch people go by all afternoon = much more entertaining ]

I am so grateful to dear friends [ like Rena ] who surprise me with a package in the mail, filled up with goodies, such as these fabrics. Ooo, to have friends like this! Thank you!

Now my eldest is old enough to shop with me it's great fun, also the tea with cake on the terrace.

  2. I'm with you Anna. I don't go shopping just to go shopping. If I need something I go get it and leave. I would be a great side kick and drink coffee and watch people pass by........thanks!

  3. It depends what I'm shopping for! I love browsing in bookshops and being seduced by pretty covers. I also have a favourite fabric shop. It's full of wonderful clever women (staff and customers alike) sharing their knowledge with warmth and laughter. Sometimes shopping can be pure indulgence. Kim :)

  11. I think i'm going crazy because I was sure I left a comment on here?!?

anyway I hate shopping unless its for books, stationary, and crafts... I would much rather sit in a coffee shop doodling, reading or watching the world go by... clothes shopping is so over rated. thank you for linking to my giveaway post. I hope Milicent will go to someone who will love her.
