Forgotten

It is not often I dare to enter the attics, the boxes are still stacked there and all over the place since we moved here nearly 3 years ago. Still haven't unpacked. Well, not properly anyways. And against the wall, behind a box full of plates and cups this painting was resting with the cobwebs and heaven only knows how many spiders. She was forgotten. Unfinished. Waiting on a large canvas.

It makes me miss painting. I must paint again soon. Somehow.

I must also tidy up the attics soon. Somehow.

  4. I'm happy for you! sometimes we find forgotten things in forgotten places and they accidentally make us come back to old good times when we painted, sewed, created so great pieces of art! and I like your picture!it's in your sensual style so much!would love to have one of your pics on my wall:)
take care and create as much as you are able to!

  6. I think she is beautiful as she is! the white hair makes me think of faeries and beautiful things dancing in moonlit forests. <3

In a few weeks time we will have lived in this house for two years.. today we finally put picture shelves up in the kitchen...and so much needs repainting.. perhaps it would be more fun to crawl about in the attic and have a rummage around all the things that have been forgotten about the last two years.

  8. Comforting to read that I'm not the only one ignoring my unpacked boxes! Attics can wait, things that bring joy (i.e. painting) should not ... (a philosophy that explains the permanent state of chaos in this house)
