The Fountain

Tonight I  shall not moan about the fact there is so little on the television.
Instead I will sit in the corner, add a blanket and some tea, and will
switch on. I will watch the stunning visual movie that is
The Fountain. I might even get the licorice from Holland out of it's
hiding place. The extra salty one.

And if I am still awake, I will watch
Fried Green Tomatoes right after it.
I am in 'that' kind of mood...

What are you watching tonight?

  1. awesome... I can't remeber what happens in that film as I was jetlagged at my parents house when we watched it.. hidden under a duvet with assorted pugs laying on me.

I feel the need to watch Amelie on dvd.. or possibly Dogma on the tv.

  4. ..Oh not at all Ramona. I think that is a lovely idea. I usually don't watch television myself. There is a huge lack of good programs, and mostly very very mind numbing.

  5. Started watching 'Room With A View' last night & couldn't stay up for the end of it so will watch the second half tonight. Marvelling at how young Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Helena Bonham Carter et al look in that film, then realised it is 25 years old!!

  6. I do love that movie, Lynn. I watched it so many times when I was young(er). Hope you will make it to the ending tonight.

Of course I am mostly looking forward to the snacks.

But then. I am pretty sad. x

  7. I do not know whether I will watch TV at all tonight but I would love to see Chocolate once more (though I've seen it soooooo many times) or "Very long engagement" or "Amelie". These are movies for my mood tonight.

Have a nice TV evening Anna (do your children like licorice? I personally love them but no one else in my house does...)

  8. Oh we do so love licorice... (lekkere zoute drop and salmiak!) ... except the husband (who is very british) we would gladly wrestle each other for it!

I do love Chocolate too. It is one of those movies you can watch endlessly because of it magic atmosphere.
In our family we have watched Big Fish so many times, including our little ones :)

Now I will go and dream about munt dropjes ........
